DG Fairhaven is located 2 miles west of the city of Eureka, on the northern arm of the Humboldt Bay peninsula adjacent to the communities of Samoa and Fairhaven. The facility consists of a wood waste and natural gas fired boiler which is used to generate steam to produce electricity. The location of the facility resides at 97 Bay Street, Somoa, CA 95564.
